Well it's been an eventful week in Wilder's life. First he peaked in the fussing department (we hope it was his peak anyway!). It culminated in a meltdown, complete with 14 different shades of purple in the face, right before mom went to pick up Aunt Bree, who's visiting from Alamosa, Colorado, from the airport. From then on out though, we had a great weekend. He likes to turn the charm on for the ladies, the little rascal. He loved Bree's visit ... she kept him rich in the snuggles department all weekend.

He also took his first walk around Dallas' White Rock Lake. Unfortunately we didn't take the camera, so we didn't get any pics of that. Too bad, too, because it was a beautiful day. And he was serenaded by a very gravelly voiced Mexican troubador at dinner at La Calle Doce. He wasn't a fan -- he cried through the whole thing.

Mom got a night out on the town with Bree while Pop spent some quality time with the boy decorating the Christmas Tree and listening to carols. She (mom) enjoyed it, having her first real sushi (and sake! ... two bottles) in months. She and Bree wrapped the night up at the Lakewood Landing, where they enjoyed hobknobbing with the locals and having a couple cocktails.

We're looking forward to a visit from Grandpa Jerry next weekend! Love to all.
